Our Mission
The DCG Booster Club’s mission is to promote and foster interest in and good will toward all athletic activities affiliated with the Dallas Center-Grimes Community School District.
Our Purpose
The DCG Booster Club supports 7-12th grade athletics programs by raising and distributing thousands of dollars each year. With these funds, we are able to provide items that benefit student athletes and programs, including:
- Team uniforms
- Scholarships
- Camps & clinics
- Athletic equipment
- Technology
- Facility enhancements
- Post-season expenses
- And much more!
Join the Club
The DCG Boosters is a membership club, made up of parents, businesses, and community members who all cheer for and support the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustang athletic teams. Membership comes in several forms:
- Business memberships
- Family memberships
- Junior Stampede memberships (for 6th grade and under)
- Sponsorships
How to Support the Boosters
So how does the DCG Booster Club raise all that money each year? It takes a village! The primary revenue sources are Memberships and Sponsorships, Concessions, Major Fundraisers and Apparel Sales.
Memberships and Sponsorships
Every August we begin our membership drive, opening up membership and sponsorship to the DCG community. We have many long-standing members, but we also welcome and appreciate NEW members! Membership is the easiest way for you to support DCG athletics.
Concessions
Surprisingly, most of the funds we raise each year come from running the concession stands at our home athletic events. That’s right, all those hotdogs, brats, popcorn and sodas you enjoy while watching a game help support our athletic programs. Unfortunately, these concession stands don’t run themselves. At every event, parents of our athletes are serving you, and behind the scenes there is a Booster Club member who has either gone shopping, ordered products, come in early to set up the stand or who is overseeing the night’s activities.
Apparel Sales
Apparel sales have been popular with fans and students who want to support the Mustangs wearing the latest trendy Mustang gear. New items are released throughout the year, so be on the lookout for flyers posted to our social media accounts.
